Trippin' across South Dakota

We spent 2 nights in the Badlands NP.  We went to Wounded Knee, Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse.  We didn't go into the Crazy Horse Memorial because they were charging $10/person entrance fee.  We felt that the fee for the memorial was excessive when the carving isn't even half finished.

The Badlands were exceptionally beautiful in the late aftenoon.  We saw deer, praire dogs and big horn sheep.  The Badlands NP is a must see as are Mt. Rushmore and Wounded Knee.

Tonight we are in Mitchell, SD where we visited the Corn Palace.  The Palace is a unique place and has a wonderful history of American determination.
